Okay so I know this isn't my photography or photography of any type but I really wanted to share it with you. In the past I have done some videos and slideshows that have gone along with music. Now the thing with music is royalty fees. Those can be tricky! I had not bought any of my songs, all of them were stolen. So I deleted all of my videos off my youtube channel and decided to start over. Royalty fees for popular songs can cost alot, also when using well known songs it can be a little too mainstream for some artists. With the help of Inside the Locker I found The Music Bed. This website is amazing! "Creating The Music Bed wasn't, and will never be about scaring people in to purchasing music... It really is about seeing great musicians getting compensated for their work" All songs are just $49 and royalty free! Plus when using a site like this you get to discover new and interesting songs/artists, it isn't just the same old pop radio stuff. Even if you find a song that you love but don't want to buy royalty free you can get most all of the songs on itunes and just use them for your personal listening :)
Another great site for new and original music is Noise Trade, this site is a little different but still there for supporting artists. You can go and browse their library of awesome music and download all the songs for free! You may also leave a tip for the artist (anywhere from $1-$100) these donations help the artists out a ton. It is also really cool because after downloading you get an email from the artist and they are all for hearing from you and what your voice is.
